Blue Cheese Burger

The British-style pub that we used to frequent for 2 for 1 Mondays no longer participates in that offer, so recently my friends and I decided to try a different one called McSorley's Ale House. Its menu is not as extensive, though they have all the main pub eats.

McSorley's, which is in SoHo, also specializes in several types of burgers, and even has a 'burger of the month'. I ordered the burger with blue cheese and bacon, and it was absolutely delicious, especially the creamy cheese sauce. 

However, I ordered my burger to be cooked to 'medium', but given the large size of the patty, the inside was a bit too rare for my liking. But, I don't think I could have finished it anyway because there were lots of fries on the side.
