Classic Broccoli Cheese Casserole

I didn't grow up eating broccoli cheese casserole, but that doesn't mean I'm not a fan. When I got some cream of mushroom soup on sale recently, I decided to try Paula Deen's recipe which also uses mayonnaise (except I didn't make the cracker topping).

In the past, I've served broccoli casserole with fried potatoes and onions. This time, my plan was to have hash browns instead, like a deconstructed hash brown casserole. However, I couldn't find them at any of our local supermarkets so caved in and bought fries instead.

Not the healthiest option of course, but they were tasty! As were the broccoli casserole and the stir-fried mushrooms and onions.
