A Fancy Valentine Dinner
Although our Valentine's Day started off with a red-eye flight to Tokyo, which was then followed by a second flight delay of 4+ hours, it had a nice and tasty ending.
When we finally arrived in Sapporo, we went directly to a fancy hotel for a double date. The hotel's restaurant was on a floor high above the city, with lovely night views.
We ordered one of the set meals with several courses, which were designed based on locally sourced ingredients. I also had a small but pretty fruity vodka cocktail.
All the savory foods were delicious, even the bouillabaisse which looked very fishy but tasted nice. The dessert of ice cream plus mochi, berries and sweet beans was okay, but I could have done without the latter.
