Catching Up at Applegreen

Last month, I met some former colleagues at Applegreen in Jordan. I had never heard of it before, but I will definitely be going back. It is a Western-style restaurant with many different types of food and also specialty teas and drinks.

The menu has an entire page devoted to salads of all kinds, and many of them come in half sizes. We chose two half orders, which were still quite big: one caesar salad and one chicken taco salad with guacamole!

The pasta page is also customizable, where you can add extra toppings to a variety of basic sauces. So, we got spaghetti with shrimp in tomato sauce. 

We also ordered Irish nachos, which were waffle fries topped with guacamole and other yummy things like sour cream and bacon. And finally, we had truffle macaroni and cheese, which was divine!
