Drunken Pasta Sauce


Last Friday, we had a party at our flat. The next day, a lot of alcohol was left over, including a couple of partially full vodka bottles. So, I was inspired to finally try making creamy tomato vodka sauce for pasta.

It was surprisingly easy to make, and it was delicious. The recipe did not call for it, but I added some chopped zucchini as something green to try to counteract the heavy cream. I think adding spinach or sauteed mushrooms would also be quite nice.
