BlackSalt Brunch

Today I ventured to a restaurant out of my usual stomping grounds in a very popular part of Hong Kong for expats. I tried BlackSalt in Sai Ying Pun for the first time on a lovely brunch catch up date with an old friend.

Although I was tempted by the chickpea banana pancakes, I opted for the delicious spicy scrambled egg bhurji, served with lentils and paratha. I also ordered a spiced milk tea, which was tasty but would've been a bit better with sugar.

In addition to the yummy food, I was also pleased by the generous serving sizes, as many trendy restaurants in Hong Kong's fancier districts often have fairly small portions. I would definitely be happy to return to BlackSalt for another visit.
