Yardbird Yakitori

Yardbird has been popular in the Hong Kong restaurant scene for quite some time, but I only managed to get there quite recently. It was nice to go with people who'd been before and knew the best things to order.

Although I don't often eat meat, I figured I should try some at a yakitori restaurant. So I got a chicken meatball skewer, served with dipping sauce including a raw egg. I'm not quite sure I'd consider the meat to be in a "ball" shape, but the flavor was excellent.

We got quite a few vegetable dishes to share, and they were all fantastic. I was wowed by the look (and taste) of the sweet corn tempura, and the KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) was amazing. The Brussels sprouts and the mushroom rice were also fantastic.
