Staycation at The Royal Garden

3-tiered afternoon tea tray including sandwiches and pastries

For our second staycation this year, we chose The Royal Garden hotel in East Tsim Sha Tsui. David wanted to stay there for the retro (80s-90s) decor, including glass lifts and open-air hallways on every floor, overlooking the hotel restaurants below.

I was more interested in the reasonable price for the rooms with access to the club lounge. The package included afternoon tea, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, as well as buffet breakfast the next day. Although the afternoon tea wasn't as grand as The Peninsula or similar (and didn't include scones), the egg salad was yummy and the pastries were tasty.

The food in the evening include Impossible sliders and very tasty macarons in different flavors. We could order seconds of anything if needed and also enjoyed unlimited prosecco. Breakfast the next morning was pretty standard, but quite good. It's safe to say we ate a lot over the course of our 18-hour stay!

This event is best celebrated with friends and family. What better way to do this then by gathering together in a fun and safe festival with no entry fees and free parking? Exciting rides, a thrilling assortment of stalls, and excellent live entertainment are the just a part of the festivities that will be available at the event.Click here
