Want a burger, man? Go to Burgerman!

Burger places are becoming ever more popular in Hong Kong, and we recently tried one quite near our house. In fact, both of Burgerman's two HK locations are within 15 minutes' walk of our apartment in Prince Edward.

We went to the restaurant in Sham Shui Po (the other one is in Tai Kok Tsui) last week. It is quite small; with only about six bar stools, perhaps 'shop' is a better word. Luckily, it wasn't too busy, so we could get a seat.

Burgerman's menu has a fairly good selection of beef burgers, with a few pork, chicken and fish options. The only vegetarian sandwich is a portobello mushroom burger. Besides burgers, they also have salads, pastas and exciting sides like mozzarella sticks and cheesy bacon broccoli balls.

Although I really wanted to try the Trucker Burger (a double cheeseburger topped with a fried egg), I had a burger with blue cheese and bacon, which was very yummy. The combo meal ($15 extra) came with a good-sized serving of fries and a drink.
