Delaney's Sunday Roast Special

A few weeks ago, David was missing English food and really wanted to have a traditional 'roast dinner'. So, we went to Delaney's, an Irish pub in Tsim Sha Tsui, for their Sunday special, a two-course lunch plus tea or coffee for HK $148.

For your first course, you could choose soup or salad. We both ordered the soup, a rather too herbed chunky tomato, with lovely bread and butter on the side.

The main event, of course, is the roast and trimmings, of which there were plenty! My favorite part was the roasted potatoes, which were crusty on the outside but still soft on the inside. The beef itself was also good, as were the vegetables, mashed potatoes and puffy Yorkshire pudding.
