Breakfast in Chicago

On our first full day in Chicago, my colleagues and I went for brunch/lunch at a French patisserie near Millennium Park. I ordered eggs florentine served on American biscuits rather than English muffins, which was an interesting combination.

The Wildberry Cafe was also quite near our hotel, and it was so tasty that I went 3 times! First, I got chocolate chip pancakes, which were huge but to die for. The second time I just had a slice of pumpkin bread because I didn't want another large breakfast.

On my final visit, however, I overindulged again and got a veggie skillet with cheesy hash browns and scrambled eggs plus a side of pancakes. It was amazing but certainly too much for one person!
