Souper Sapporo

On our first full day in Sapporo, we revisited the same restaurant in Ramen Alley that we tried a few years ago. It was equally delicious as before, though we were less in need of the warming soup in the pleasant summer weather.

On another day, we tried a new-to-me dish called soup curry, which is apparently very popular in Hokkaido as well. It was much different than the other type of Japanese curry, often served with pork cutlet, but still very yummy.

I chose the all-veggie version, which included lovely roasted broccoli and quail egg, among other things. I also added tofu for a little protein. Together with the slightly seasoned rice, soup curry was a terrific meal for a post-wedding hangover.
