A Reffen Repast

We spent one evening in Copenhagen at Reffen, an open-air collection of food stalls, with a group of friends. With a large number of stalls offering many different cuisines (ranging from European to African, Asian and more), it wasn’t easy to choose what to eat.

First we got a sausage to share, as they are a popular street food in Denmark. Then we tried cheesy fries with fried chicken—an amazing idea, but unfortunately rather salty (as was a lot of Danish food actually). Finally, we had a banana Nutella crepe. I was surprised the toppings came outside the crepe instead of inside, but it still tasted great.

In addition to many tasty foods, there were lots of craft beers and other drinks available at Reffen. The location itself was great too, right on the waterfront with very pretty sunsets.
