Which came first, Chicken n Egg?
Quite a while ago, I read about a restaurant called Chicken n Egg in Kowloon City. I liked the sound of it partly because of the name, and partly because they have brunch fare on their menu.
Well, I ate there a few weekends ago, though I did not go for brunch. Instead, David and I shared a quarter of a chicken, with the weekly special of Mexican seasoning, and two sides: 'American-style' potato wedges and roasted vegetables.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender, the potatoes were crispy and piping hot, and the veggies were seasoned with lovely herbs. I sort of wanted to get mashed potatoes instead, but perhaps I'll just have to go back. The desserts sounded great, too!
