A Greek Feast
Another brunch we tried recently was at the Greek restaurant Souvla in Lan Kwai Fong. With a voucher from Groupon, the Sunday spread with salads, carvery and desserts was only HK $168, which was a great deal.
The main part of the brunch included about 10 types of salads, all of which were vegetarian. They had various cold vegetable salads, as well as several made with grains and pulses like couscous, chickpeas, etc. So yummy!
In the carvery section, there was also some hot food, such as roasted corn, roasted potatoes and yellow rice. I didn't try the beef, but the roasted chicken was very tender and delicious.
For dessert, there were two versions of classic Greek baklava, including a chocolatey one. The honey yogurt was my other favorite, along with the sponge cake soaked in some kind of flavoring. There was fruit on the dessert buffet, too, but I wanted to save room for real sugary treats.
