Laterblog: Simply Life

I think it was all the way back in February that I met my friend Vicky for lunch at the newish Simply Life in Fortress Hill/Tin Hau. Yet somehow it's taken a very long time for me to write about it!

At almost $100, the lunch set at Simply Life is not the cheapest you will find, but it included nice-sized portions of very nice food. I remember enjoying the pumpkin soup, sea bass and roasted vegetables very much.

Aside from the fact that you may have to wait for a table, my only real complaint with this particular Simply Life was its lack of a bakery and deli area. Unlike some other branches, it was a sit-down restaurant only, which means no pretty pastries, scrumptious salads, etc.!
