Tequila!

From Guadalajara, we took a day trip to the town of Tequila, where they make ... tequila! There are several distilleries in the area, but we visited the Jose Cuervo one and had lunch at the restaurant next door. Of course, when in Tequila, order a margarita sweetened with agave syrup, garnished with a piece of agave.

To eat, I ordered cheese enchiladas with mole sauce. I've often heard about mole, but I had never tried it before. It was interesting and good, but still a bit too sweet or rich to eat towards the end. Next time I will have enchiladas with red or green sauce instead.
