Wedding Cake
When my mom and stepdad got married, they chose a 3-tier wedding cake with 3 different flavor options rather than saving the top tier for their anniversary. Although I would love to eat wedding cake all the time, we chose the same method, as we very likely won't be in Missouri on our anniversary anyway.
The bottom tier of our cake was basic white wedding cake with strawberry filling, the middle layer was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache, and the top layer was red velvet with cream cheese filling. Additionally, the baker provided some cupcakes to be sure there was enough cake.
And ... there was definitely more than enough cake! A very large portion of the bottom layer was left over the next day, which of course we brought home with us. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the chocolate cake, but the other cakes were both delicious.
So, if you ever need a cake near West Plains, Missouri, ask Jeff Wood. He may be a bit absent-minded and flighty, but the end result did not disappoint.
