FruiTea

Also while I was on my business trip to Beijing, we spent one evening in a local coffee shop having a working meeting over drinks. As we were looking at the menu and deciding what to order, I was pleased to notice my name listed as an offering not once, but twice.

According to my colleagues, the pinyin (when Mandarin Chinese is written phonetically with letters A-Z) for Chinese pear is very similar to the name Sydney. However, I chose to order mixed fruit tea instead, and it was absolutely delicious. It was sweet but not sickly, and inside the teapot were pieces of apples, oranges, watermelon, Chinese pear and passion fruit. Yum!
