Tea and Scones at Teakha

Last weekend I tried a cute new cafe in Sheung Wan called teakha. Tucked away on a short pedestrian street, it was small but nicely decorated inside with additional outdoor seating (though unfortunately it was raining).

When reviewing the menu, I was tempted by French toast or avocado toast but made a spontaneous decision to order the vegetarian quiche. With a buttery crust and creamy (not too eggy) filling, I was very pleased with my choice!

To drink, I ordered the Thai-style iced milk tea, complete with evaporated and condensed milk. And for just HK$10 more, I was happy to upgrade to the tea set with a warm and flaky fig scone.
